Holiday Mission

Dear Bothers & Sisters,

PAOT has now opened the door to an exciting opportunity for you and your family and fellowship friends to join us for a very special holiday here in Thailand while at the same time serving the Lord.  After much prayer and preparation we are accepting applications for our "Holiday Mission" Program

Come and visit Southeast Asia in all of its splendor  Spend time in Thailand's most beautiful city: The capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom: Chiang Mai as well as Chiang Rai whose King used to rule all over the Northeast of Thailand and into Laos.  Here you will explore and discover its rich history, beautiful art and architecture as well as experience its fine cuisine and cultural shows.  If you are so inclined, you may also take in the adventure of riding an elephant, visiting the safari park, raft on our river and see a live performance with deadly poisonous snakes!

We will then escort you to one or more villages where recent immigrants now live, often in primitive bamboo and grass roof huts.  Here you will have the opportunity to testify, teach and preach, sometimes to believers who are recent converts.  There will be many different services conducted depending upon when you come.  Some will see conversions, baptisms, weddings or during the harvest season (October) the Lahu Thanksgiving feast, itself a celebration that precedes the modern Christian era of the Lahu and stretches back many generations and centuries to the tribes origins in China and Tibet.

Along with ministry, you will also be invited to participate in one of the greatest needs: Church building!  Minister to the ministers!  Help us to build in these villages, toilets, small clinics, places for the Pastor's family to live and conduct Bible teaching.  Here is a chance to not only contribute financially, but to donate the most precious, welcome and appreciated resource there is: You, Your Time and Your Spirit!  Come and add your enthusiasm to ours that we may work together.

We hope to see you!

1Corinthians 3:7-9 “So then neither is he who plants anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. For of God we are fellow-workers, a field of God...”
